That's only bad if you <i>have to</i>. Stuart lives in China and learns to appreciate what he has at home. Many Overseas Chinese live abroad and learn to appreciate what they have at home. I <i>cautiously</i> agree with Jay Casey, comment #3 (but let's bear in mind that the movie hasn't started yet). What’s wrong with living in a country without liking its government?
